Roszdravnadzor supervises the compliance with the procedure for medical evaluations, medical examinations and medical certifications.
In accordance with the above, the Service performs the following functions:
- control over Territorial bodies of Roszdravnadzor in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation regarding medical evaluations, medical examinations and medical certifications;
- development of strategies aimed at improvement of control over compliance with the procedures of medical evaluations, medical examinations and medical certifications;
- control over compliance with the procedure of medical evaluations, medical examinations and medical certifications;
- analysis of healthcare administration agencies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation regarding their compliance with the procedures of medical evaluations, medical examinations and medical certifications;
- participation in development of proposals on amendments to the legislative acts of the Russian Federation, decisions, orders, directives and instructions of Roszdravnadzor regarding medical evaluations, medical examinations and medical certifications;
- participation in reviewing of oral and written appeals of citizens, inquiries of government bodies, local authorities and legal entities regarding compliance with the procedures of medical evaluations, medical examinations and medical certifications, timely and thorough review of citizens verbal and written complains, and responds within the timeframe specified by the legislation.
